Yes — from spreadsheets, from desktop packages, or from another cloud product. The core data moves reasonably well: chart of accounts, contacts, opening balances, and usually a couple of years of transaction history. What does not move is everything you configured — bank rules, invoice branding, recurring invoices, tracking, app connections — and those get rebuilt rather than transferred. Reconciled history and attachments often come across imperfectly, so we check rather than assume. Our strong preference is to migrate at a year end, where the opening position is already agreed and there is a clean line. Mid-year is entirely possible and we do it regularly, it just means bringing the current year in from 6 April so nothing has to be reconciled across two systems later.
